(NaturalNews) Do you remember the “McStatin” issue in 2010? That’s when Dr. Darrell Francis of Imperial College London suggested that fast food restaurants dispense free statin drugs with their fast food meals, the way condiments are available.
The paper urging this madness was published in the American Journal of Cardiology around the same time that other medical geniuses urged adding antidepressants to municipal water supplies.
Well, the latest trend is heroin at McDonald’s, but you have to pay. It won’t be provided by Obamacare or the state. Actually, state law enforcement is not so supportive of this activity. So far, two busts have been made in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania for heroin sales at two different McDonald’s locations. The most recent was the most blatant.
A drive-thru window employee at a Pittsburgh McDonald’s had a system set up for selling small packets of heroin, or stamp bags, at $80.00 each. Stamp bags are small waxed bags that are sold to stamp collectors to store their stamps or used to sell single doses of powdered heroin.
This employee had an interesting plan. Buyers would announce into the drive-thru speaker that they wanted to buy a McDonald’s toy. But the two-dollar toys are placed in “Happy Meal” boxes without charge, so this request was a code for the employee to dispense a stamp bag or two or more depending on the payment.
The buyer would pay at the first window and actually collect the heroin in an otherwise empty “Happy Meal” box, then drive on, ignoring the second window since no food or drinks were ordered.
The police got a tip from an informant and then proceeded to act as customers who were special ordering those “toys.” They got what they wanted, a “Happy Meal” box with 10 stamp bags, and the young lady who provided them had 50 other stamp bags stashed away.
In nearby Murrysville, a small town 20 miles east of Pittsburgh, a fellow who was recently released from a shortened three-year sentence for heroin sales got caught doing it again. He was an employee who used the Murrysville McDonald’s to make sales inside McDonald’s and on its parking lot.
Guess he couldn’t leave the thrills and fast money as a dealer behind once he saw the working conditions in fast food restaurants.
If the heroin were pure, maybe it wouldn’t be such a big deal to go after these street dealers. But the philosophy presented by law enforcement for busting small street dealers is that those little busts can lead to the big guys. Even more importantly, they can lead to large distributors and local area home brewers.
Twenty-two heroin users have recently died in the area in and around Pittsburgh using heroin mixed with a pain-killing pharmaceutical known as fentanyl. It’s similar to morphine but even stronger, and it’s only used for extreme cases of pain. But fentanyl was not in the stamp bags solicited at either McDonald’s.
Whether the combination is toxic or unsuspecting users don’t know that fentanyl is in the heroin they’re familiar with using, it has turned out to be a rather deadly combo, even worse than combos served at Mickey D’s.
These fentanyl deaths offer a major motive to lean on street peddlers to possibly get to the brewer who made the stuff that killed 22 people. It helps keep them from raiding pot smokers’ homes as well.
Local area police insist that fentanyl’s presence, especially the potent 3-methylfentanyl street form called “China White” that killed several in 1988, indicates that there is a brewer in the area of southwest Pennsylvania similar to the 1988 home lab heroin chemist who is still in jail.
Is another local area chemist breaking bad?
